   Introduction

The Agriculture Planning and Developing Research Center (APDRC) was established in 2015 under the College of Bioresources and Agriculture, National Taiwan University (CBA-NTU).  Founding of APDRC is to encourage the development of agricultural construction for new century agriculture, propose new policy and projects for rural revolution, conduct new developmental solutions for specific agricultural issues, educate potential trainers for agricultural services, and furthermore provide integrated planning and designs for next generation agriculture.

As a strong partner of the Council of Agriculture (COA), we assist the government of Taiwan to conduct the Traceability Certification System for agricultural products, namely TAP products.  We believed that TAP products could change the concepts not only in field operation but also in business management for rural enterprises and to make great revolution and positive progresses in agricultural industry.

We have reviewed the policy for the governmental Traceability Certification System as well as have provided legal and practical suggestions to COA.  In addition, we carry out practical onsite works like reaching out to the full-time farmers and assisting them in the system implementation.  We also conducted training courses all over Taiwan to educate trainers and established substantial connections between the trainers and the farmers.  In 2019, more than 400 intern trainers and 50 experienced trainers have been issued by APDRC, NTU.  We are proud to perform more than 100 on-site tutors and inspections throughout mountains and fields each year.
